TRAVEL TO SOUTH CENTRAL

By Road

We have some amazing road links in to South Central Festival, with the M27 being just around the corner.

To plan your route perfectly, use My Journey Hampshire.
 

From Portsmouth

  • Join the M27 eastbound

  • Take the J12 exit at Tesco

  • At the traffic lights, straight ahead to A3 / Southampton Road

  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit to A397 / Northern Road

  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and continue over the bridge


From Chichester & Brighton

  • Join the M27 westbound

  • Take the A3 exit towards Cosham

  • Keep right at the fork, follow signs for M275

  • Follow the A397 / Northern Road

  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and continue over the bridge


From Southampton & Bournemouth

  • Join the M27 eastbound

  • Take the J12 exit at Tesco

  • At the traffic lights, straight ahead to A3 / Southampton Road

  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit to A397 / Northern Road

  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and continue over the bridge

Parking

If you are looking to Drive to South Central Festival then we do have parking available for both the campsite and also for the festival its self. 

Festival Parking - Lakeside North Harbour - Western Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3EN 
This will have a charity donation for parking to the Portsmouth Rotary Club. 

Campsite Parking - Farlington Playing Fields. Eastern Road Portsmouth PO6 1UW

By Taxi

Taxis / Drop-offs / Parking, all at Lakeside 1000, please follow the signs.

By Train

By Sea

From the Isle of Wight
Hovertravel is the quickest way, taking just 10 minutes to cross and running til 10pm.

Wightlink Ferries takes approximately 30 minutes to cross to Portsmouth. Please ensure you book your place early. 


From Gosport
The Gosport Ferry runs to Gunwharf, Portsmouth every 15 minutes from 5:30am through until midnight
